Wine as a gift from nature has been drink since 8000 BC, starting from Europe it gradually spread around the world and become a culture.

Japan is a country that makes and drinks wine, but the history of japanese wine itself is still new.
But, in recent years as the globalization of the wine proceeds, Wine in our country has been drunk on a daily basis.
Further more, the brand of [Koshu] which recognize as Japan’s original wine has become an international high-value wine that suit healthy japanese cuisine. 

Now, we think that it is necessary to create a cultural society with
those who involved in the wine industry,including the producer,
and consumers that enjoy wine everyday, to be enclose with the history of wine,
deepen the understanding of the wine as an international commodity,
and as one of the culture of the wine in the general social life.

From this point of view, the japan wine promotion society wants to elevate the quality of japanese wine
and aims for the wine to be a rich food culture,
as contributing in develpoment of wine related business. 

This time, Wine story is the part of the things we do that intorduce Yamanashi as the first land that makes japanese wine,
and run the winery that represent some of the best wine,
and make them to go to each of the winery by telling their history.
